Five of the Best Winter Walks in the Lake District

Five of the Best Winter Walks in the Lake District

More straight forward than approaching Helvellyn from Striding Edge, this is one of my favourite winter hiking routes. The climb to the summit offers spectacular views across Thirlmere, Raven Crag and the north west fells.
